Care Control meets all 14 NHS DSCR standards
We are delighted to announce that Care Control now meets all 14 standards set out by NHS England, making us fully compliant with the new Digital Social Care Records (DSCR) standards established by the Assured Solutions List. This milestone is a testament to our continuous commitment to providing the highest level of digital care management solutions that meet the rigorous standards set by the NHS.
Care Control and the NHS have been working closely to ensure the successful integration of Care Control with GP Connect. Before this integration went live, we had already met 13 of the 14 NHS standards and underwent rigorous testing to ensure our GP Connect integration would be as seamless as possible for our customers. We are now proud to announce that GP Connect will soon be available for our customers. More information will be provided shortly.
What Does NHS Assured Mean?
The NHS Assured status means that our digital care management system has been carefully evaluated and meets the high standards set by the NHS for quality, security, and efficiency. This ensures that our software follows NHS best practices and guidelines, giving our customers a system they can rely on.
The Importance of Compliance in Digital Care Management
Compliance with NHS standards is crucial for several reasons:
- Quality Assurance: Achieving NHS Assured status means that our system meets the high standards of quality expected by the NHS. This ensures that our users can rely on Care Control to provide accurate, reliable, and effective digital care management solutions.
- Data Security: With increasing concerns about data security and patient privacy, our compliance ensures that Care Control adheres to the strict data protection and privacy regulations set by the NHS. This includes robust measures to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorised access.
- Interoperability: NHS Assured status also means that our system is designed to integrate seamlessly with other NHS-approved systems, allowing for smooth communication and data sharing between different healthcare providers and systems. This is crucial for providing coordinated and efficient care.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Our compliance ensures that Care Control Systems is optimised for efficiency, helping care providers streamline their operations, reduce administrative burdens, and focus more on delivering quality care and support to their service users.
The Role of GP Connect Integration
In addition to our NHS Assured status, we are also proud to announce that Care Control is now fully integrated with GP Connect. GP Connect is an NHS Digital service that enables care providers to share and view patient information from GP records in real time, regardless of the clinical system used by the GP practice.
Benefits of GP Connect Integration:
- Seamless Information Sharing: With GP Connect, Care Control Systems allows for seamless access to vital patient information, including medical history, allergies, and current medications. This real-time data access is crucial for making informed decisions and providing timely care.
- Improved Continuity of Care: The integration with GP Connect ensures that all care providers involved in a service users care have access to the same up-to-date information. This improves continuity of care, reduces the risk of errors, and enhances the overall services users experience.
- Enhanced Efficiency: By integrating GP Connect, Care Control eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces duplication of effort, saving valuable time for care professionals and allowing them to focus more on service user care.
- Better Service User Outcomes: With immediate access to comprehensive patient records, care providers can offer more personalised and effective treatment plans, leading to better health outcomes for clients and residents.
What This Means for Our Customers
For our existing and potential customers, this compliance and integration bring several benefits:
- Peace of Mind: Knowing that Care Control is NHS Assured and integrated with GP Connect provides peace of mind that you are using a system that is trusted and approved by the NHS.
- Enhanced Service User Care: The assurance of quality, interoperability, and real-time data access means that our system supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
- Future-Proofing: As the NHS continues to evolve and adapt to new challenges, our compliance and integration with GP Connect ensure that Care Control remains at the forefront of digital care management, ready to meet the demands of the future.
Looking Ahead
At Care Control Systems, we are dedicated to continuously improving our software to meet the evolving needs of care providers and their service users. Achieving NHS Assured status and integrating with GP Connect are just steps in our ongoing journey to provide the best digital care management solutions available.
We are excited about the opportunities this compliance and integration bring and look forward to working closely with our customers to help them deliver the highest standard of care possible.
