Data Security and Protection Toolkit Masterclass

This webinar, hosted by Digital Care Hub, aims to support care providers who are finishing off their DSPT.

The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is an online self-assessment tool to help adult social care providers in England store and share information safely.

During this session, you will learn how to:

1. Complete approaching standards and standards met.
2. Publish your DSPT standard.
3. Access free, official support from the Better Security, Better Care Programme.

Why is having a DSPT so important?

A DSPT shows that you have what you need to keep people’s information safe and protect your business from the risk of a data breach or cyber-attack. A DSPT covers both paper and digital records. By setting up a DSPT you also gain access to a NHSmail and shared records system like GP Connect.

Did you know…

You must have a DSPT in place to meet NHS contacts. Local authorities and CQC inspectors will now expect you to have a DSPT in place. Remember, you will have to complete the toolkit at least once every year.

Tavistock Dementia Alliance

Tavistock Dementia Alliance are a local charity, dedicated to supporting those with dementia and their carers in Tavistock and surrounds.

No matter where you are on your dementia journey, they can signpost you to the right resources and support to help you live well.  The TDA (Tavistock Dementia Alliance) can give you bespoke support and introduce you to activities to match your interests and wishes.
