OUR STORY

Built in care.
Built for care.

We're not a technology company that decided to enter the care sector. We're people from the care sector who decided to build better technology.

Our journey began inside a residential care home in Devon. Today, Care Control supports over 1,000 care providers across the UK.

And the most important part of our story? We're still connected to the care home where it all began.

Spring House Residential Care Home in Devon
2010 Where it all began

Care Control wasn't created in a boardroom. It was created in a care home, to solve real challenges faced by real care teams.

WHERE IT STARTED

It all started with a simple idea.

In 2010, our founder Matt Luckham took over Spring House Residential Care Home in Peter Tavy, Devon.

Like so many care providers, Matt experienced the challenges of managing paperwork, care records, staffing and day-to-day operations.

He believed there had to be a simpler way to manage care, without compromising on quality.

So he started developing a digital solution designed around the needs of the people working at Spring House.

What began as a solution for one care home would eventually become Care Control.

OUR CONNECTION TO CARE

We don't just understand care. We still deliver it.

More than a decade later, Spring House remains part of our story.

We still operate the care home where Care Control began, giving us an ongoing connection to the realities of delivering care.

From managing staffing and maintaining compliance to delivering person-centred care, we understand the pressures facing providers because we've experienced them ourselves.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE TECHNOLOGY

Care experience runs through our team.

Our connection to the care sector goes far beyond Spring House.

Many of the people working at Care Control today have previously worked within care services themselves.

They bring valuable firsthand experience of the challenges faced by care professionals into the work we do every day.

Whether we're developing new functionality, supporting customers or improving how our platform works, that understanding of care makes a difference.

Technology is important. But it's the people who understand care that make our technology truly meaningful.
