Care Show Birmingham 2026

Well, that’s another Care Show Birmingham done and dusted! 💜

On 7 and 8 October, the Care Control team headed to the NEC for two days of catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people, talking all things care technology and, of course, trying to keep Margo out of trouble.

And judging by the photos, videos and stories making their way back to Care Control HQ, it’s safe to say Birmingham kept everyone busy!

From a packed stand to a brilliant panel discussion and a mascot who seemed determined to make friends with absolutely everyone, there’s plenty to look back on.

So, here’s a little round-up of what we got up to.

A Very Busy Couple of Days at Stand K42!

First things first, a massive thank you to everyone who came to see us!

Whether you stopped by for a demonstration, wanted to find out more about Care Control, had a question for the team or simply fancied saying hello, it was lovely to see so many of you.

And we certainly weren’t short of visitors!

There were queues at the stand, plenty of conversations happening and lots of opportunities to get to know the people working across the care sector.

Our team had a brilliant time introducing visitors to Care Control, sharing what we’ve been working on and hearing about the different experiences and challenges providers are facing.

After all, there’s nothing quite like getting out of the office and speaking to the people who actually use care technology every day.

And if you didn’t manage to catch us in Birmingham, don’t worry. We’re always happy to carry on the conversation.

A Conversation Worth Having: What Do Providers Need From Care Technology Now?

One of the highlights of this year’s Care Show was our panel discussion at the Owners’ & Directors’ Forum.

Hosted by Care Control’s CEO and Founder, Matt Luckham, the session explored an important question:

“What providers need from care technology now, not in 5 years.”

And what a turnout!

It was fantastic to see so many people come along to hear the discussion and get involved in a conversation about what really matters to care providers today.

A huge thank you to our brilliant panel:

  • Tandeep Gill, PainChek
  • Paula Cashmore RGN, ACQC
  • Ryan Brummitt
  • Liam Palmer, Care Tech Guide

With perspectives from across the sector, it was a great opportunity to bring different voices together and explore the expectations, challenges and opportunities surrounding care technology.

We’re looking forward to sharing more from the discussion, including some of the key points raised on the day.

Catching Up With Some Familiar Faces

Of course, Care Show isn’t just about what’s happening on your own stand.

It’s also a brilliant opportunity to catch up with other organisations working across the sector.

We enjoyed spending time with fellow suppliers, including PainChek, CareDocs, PASS, Syndora and Alto, alongside plenty of other familiar faces.

It’s always lovely to reconnect with people we’ve met along the way, hear what everyone has been up to and see what else is happening across care technology.

A particular shoutout to the team at PainChek, who we had the pleasure of catching up with during the event.

The People Behind Care Control 💜

Of course, none of this would have happened without the brilliant team representing Care Control in Birmingham.

A huge thank you to Lizzy Hearn, Jack Mashford, Matt Luckham, Aleesha Cocker, Lorna Prowse, Daulton Douglas, Theresa Page and Marie Sunderland, who spent two very busy days meeting visitors, delivering demonstrations, supporting the event and making sure everything ran smoothly.

From setting up the stand to answering questions, meeting new people and keeping everything moving, there was certainly plenty to do.

Events like this take a lot of work, both on the stand and behind the scenes, and we’re very lucky to have such a lovely team making it all happen.

Margo, Mini Margos and a Little Bit of Mischief! 🧸

It wouldn’t be a Care Show without Margo making an appearance!

Our favourite fluffy team member was out and about at the NEC, meeting visitors, posing for selfies and generally enjoying being the centre of attention.

And this year, Margo brought some little friends along too!

Our Mini Margos were among the prizes up for grabs at Stand K42, and they certainly made themselves at home. In fact, you might have spotted a few popping up on other stands around the exhibition! 👀

Alongside our Mini Margos, we had plenty of Care Control goodies to give away, including tote bags, notebooks, pens, hand sanitiser and a few other treats.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined in the fun or came over to say hello to Margo. We think she’s still recovering from all the attention! 😂

Until Next Time, Birmingham!

And just like that, another Care Show is over.

The stand has been packed away, the team is back at Care Control HQ and Margo is hopefully getting some well-deserved rest.

We’re heading into the rest of October with plenty of lovely memories, new connections and conversations to follow up on.

But most importantly, we wanted to say thank you.

To everyone who visited Stand K42, attended our panel, spoke with the team, stopped for a Margo selfie or simply came over to say hello, you made the event what it was.

We loved seeing you all!

And if we didn’t manage to catch you this time, there’s always next year. 😉

In the meantime, if you’d like to learn more about Care Control and the different ways we support care services, we’d love to hear from you.
