MioCare Group goes live with Care Control at their supported living site

MioCare Group is one of our amazing customers, they provide care and support throughout Oldham, within a range of services including a Supported Living Service and Residential Enablement. The MioCare Group delivers person-centred care and support to over 5000 people with various needs and aspirations. Through the services they provide, they enable people to live the life they want to – how, when and where it suits them.

MioCare installs Care Control at their supported living service

Care Control has enabled MioCare to further improve its person-centred care. They recently installed Care Control in a second location at their supported living service, after the success of it in their first location at Medlock Court.

Its rollout has seen great success so far and has even seen its residents getting involved in changes to their care planning, with one service user Simon getting to spend more time with his carers and being able to take part in documenting his day. “It gives us more time with Simon and actually, more in common with Simon as well because he’s keen to take part in documenting his day,” Community Support worker, Sarah stated.

Simon was thrilled with the new system that Care Control provided, “I typed notes in myself, and I took pictures of my activities and garden on the new tablet. What do you think of that?” he asked his carers. An absolutely fantastic achievement which he would not be able to take part in, in a paper system.
