Care Control Sponsors Local Cycling Club

Here at Care Control, we are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring local cycling club Dartmoor Velo. Dartmoor Velo is a British Go Ride Junior Cycling Club established in 2018 for children 8-18. Dartmoor Velo is a friendly club based in Tavistock Devon, that runs coaching sessions for beginners and improvers on Saturday mornings. It also helps riders that want to progress their cycle racing and participate in a variety of different races. If any of our local clients are out and about in Tavistock or around the local area keep your eyes peeled for their green jerseys!  

Last week 16-year-old Orla White, one of Dartmoor Velo’s rising stars, visited Care Control HQ and collected some goodies. Orla came 3rd in the National Series and is a Regional Champion in Cycle Cross and Mountain Biking. Care Control Would like to wish her the best of luck in her cycling journey and look forward to seeing her success stories in the future.  

Fun fact: Matt Luckham Care Control’s Managing Director was a founding member of Dartmoor Velo. “All of my children have been helped to keep fit and stay active with Dartmoor Velo. Although they are now older, the club must continue to support the children in our community. Care Controls renewed sponsorship will ensure this will happen.” Explained Matt when asked about what fuelled his passion towards the club.
