Digital Social Care
Understanding the needs of the care industry
This achievement highlights how Care Control Systems are working to the highest standards to provide you and those you care for, the best possible experience. To achieve assured supplier status, the Care Control System had to provide detailed evidence in over 60 areas, and had to pass high bars set for system security, financial stability and social inclusion.
What is the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)?
The DPS is a tailored platform crafted to support social care and NHS organizations, streamlining the transition to digital social care while granting access to a curated list of high-quality, accredited supplier solutions.
The adoption of digital social care records will play a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating patient care across social care and the NHS, facilitating real-time information exchange among commissioners and regulators.
The accredited supplier list establishes a marketplace where social care providers can confidently select their preferred digital solution, ensuring it meets stringent functional requirements and standards. This process alleviates much of the stress associated with procuring a digital social care record system.
Digital Social Care Funding
The Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England have made a substantial commitment to endorse a national program dedicated to achieving between 80 to 100% adoption of digital social care records by 2024.
This ambitious initiative aims to seamlessly integrate health and care records, fostering the smooth flow of data across all health and care settings. The overarching objective is to enable effective monitoring of long-term conditions, activate preventive care models, facilitate population health management, and optimize efficiencies in care settings.
